Job Title: Assistant Asset Manager / Assistant Estate Administrator

Division/Section/Unit: Asset Management & Assistant Estate Administration

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Asset Manager provides Asset-related support to all CVR staff, as required. Also provides a variety of support services to Estate Administration staff.

Primary Duties:

The Assistant Asset Manager / Assistant Estate Administrator’s duties include a wide scope of tasks in support of fiduciary responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

Investigation, inventory, and documentation of estate assets.

Marshaling, securing, and valuation of estate assets.

Identification and marshaling of important client and estate documents, such as: advance directives, contracts, leases, financial account statements, and estate planning documents.

Coordination with real estate professionals to evaluate, market, and provide recommendations to business principals regarding, maintenance, rehabilitation, and/or offers to purchase or sell real property.

Coordination with a variety of vendors to provide services to clients, protected persons, and estates or trusts.

Coordination with clients, client families, and other CVR employees to assist with the placement of clients in new residences and the tracking of personal property assets in their possession at care facilities.

Documentation, valuation, control, and storage of estate assets.

Preparing and filing of important memorandum and related records.

Coordinates the safekeeping of high value assets and important documents.

Bill paying at the direction of an Estate Administrator.

Financial account statement data entry / reconciliation.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills/Licensure:

The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience in real estate as an agent and/or broker, or at least two (2) years of experience under the supervision of a licensed contractor. Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to perform a wide variety of Asset-related tasks under demanding time constraints. Must be able to assist with the development and maintenance of a contact list of licensed, bonded, and/or insured contractors for a wide variety of services. Must also be competent in the use of digital imaging and Microsoft (MS) Excel and MS Word. Candidates must possess a clean driving record, pass a criminal background check, and a satisfactory credit report. The candidate must be flexible and able to use their own vehicle for company purposes. An Arizona fiduciary license is not required for this position. Quicken or QuickBooks experience is a plus.

Education or Equivalence:

A high school diploma (not a G.E.D.) and two (2) years of work experience under the supervision of a general contractor, specialty tradesman, or real estate broker. Estate and Trust administration experience is helpful, but not required. Arizona real estate license is a plus.

Compensation/Benefits:

$25 - $27 per hour (full time), DOE; mileage reimbursement and a competitive benefits package (insurance, paid time-off, sick time, and retirement account matching after two [2] years).
