We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure our residential and/or commercial properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong work ethic, a broad range of repair skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property management.

Troubleshoot and repair issues in residential and commercial properties .

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Assist in unit turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and basic repairs.

Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Assist with landscaping and seasonal maintenance tasks.

Coordinate with management for specialized repairs as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications a plus.

2+ years of experience in property or building maintenance preferred.

Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.

Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall and carpentry.

Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various conditions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

May require standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and climbing.

Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required for emergencies.
