Position: HVAC Technician with Opportunity to Learn Generators

Location: Dallas Metro Plex, based in Richardson

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description: You will primarily be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing standby power generation systems for new and existing clientele. You will work closely with our team of experienced technicians and interact directly with customers to ensure their power generator systems are operating efficiently.

You will undergo comprehensive training and gain hands-on experience in generator installation, maintenance, and repair. This cross-training will enhance your skill set, broaden your career prospects, and contribute to our goal of providing comprehensive solutions to our customers' needs.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair residential standby power systems according to company standards and customer specifications

Troubleshoot generator malfunctions and implement effective solutions

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance

Assist with generator installations, including wiring, connection, and testing

Learn to diagnose and repair generator issues, including engine and electrical components

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; electrical knowledge base preferred

Proven experience as trade professional

Proficient knowledge of electrical systems and components

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
