This is a full-time position that works with all bureaus within BSP coordinating administrative and procurement activities, special projects, maintaining training records, reporting CALEA requirements, and serving as the property coordinator. This position requires the ability to work in a collaborative work environment, perform research, collect data, and work independently. Additionally, this position requires excellent facilitation and customer service skills. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific duties include:

Serving as the liaison between the Office of General Services and BSP for purchases, office supplies, copier leases, furniture orders, etc;

Coordinating delivery, installs, etc. with vendors;

Tracking and coordinating all purchases to ensure receipt of item, invoice submitted, vendor paid and closed out;

Resolving routine purchasing issues and bringing unusual problems and administrative matters to the attention of the supervisor;

Liaison between the Office of Financial Management (OFM), and the section.

Researching and resolving discrepancies as needed to ensure compliance with prompt payment laws;

Using FLAIR and My Florida Market Place to track receivables and vendor payments. Resolves any issues in a timely manner and in compliance with FDLE and State rules and regulations;

Meeting all aspects of the assignment and all deadlines or negotiating prior approval to alter deadlines;

Working with peers, Department officials and their staff to coordinate departmental entities’ collective project activities and achievements of expected results; and

Completing assignments reflecting sufficient research to justify recommendations offered.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically word and excel;

Experience providing excellent customer service (email, phone, and in-person correspondence);

Knowledge of State of Florida’s procurement process;

Ability to communicate effectively;

Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a group; and

Experience understanding and applying applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

BASE SALARY:

$50,000.00

BACKGROUND:

FDLE requires an extensive background process of all recommended applicants.
