Sheet-Metal Journeyman

Sheetmetal Journeyman Hourly Rate: C ommensurate with skills and experience Employment: Full Time Location headquarters: Stratford, CT Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (site-specific hours may apply) Overtime: Available Summary: Our work includes exciting new and renovation projects ranging in size from single story to 30 story high rise buildings as well as medical, institutional, and industrial facilities (occasional residential). We build high-end quality systems utilizing TDC, Ductmate or slip/drive connectors for metal-air duct distribution systems. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must possess a valid Connecticut driver’s license

High School or equivalent degree

Relevant Connecticut trade license (SM-1,2,3 or 4) only one needed.

Possess or able to be trained for OSHA 10/30 certification

Able to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications

Willing to work independently or as part of a large team

Attention to detail

Execute and follow Company required documentation, paperwork including submittals, timesheets, daily reports, etc.

Knowledge of HVAC building code requirements

Basic knowledge of complete mechanical system and how they work

Knowledge of trade materials, tools, means & methods

Reliable transportation

Demonstrate safe use of trade-related power and hand tools
