Aphrodite is a premiere fertility acupuncture and movement studio and fertility education brand dedicated to helping pull women and couples out of the darkness of infertility. We pride ourselves on being both Eastern and Western fertility specialists and for providing not only coaching but friendship for women on an otherwise isolated infertility journey.

About You

Our ideal candidate is a dedicated, motivated and energetic licensed acupuncturist or recent TCM graduate eager to not only specialize in integrative fertility acupuncture and coaching, but also committed to actively contributing to the growth and success of the Aphrodite brand.

We are looking for a hardworking professional with a sharp attention to detail who is passionate about developing their fertility expertise while simultaneously driving our business forward. The ideal candidate is not simply an acupuncturist, but a team player committed to professional and business growth who does not shy from innovative thinking, active engagement with marketing, networking and social media, and a proactive approach to patient care and community engagement.

IMPORTANT:

The job will require a one month unpaid intensive fertility training (M-F for one month). After successful completion of the training, salaried employment with Aphrodite will begin.

Starting salary will range between 40k and 70k a year with part-time hours. By end of year 1 of employment we expect your salary to reach 70k.

Job Duties

Clinical Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment:

Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health and fertility history using a discerning Western and Eastern line of investigation with a heavy emphasis on fertility education.

Review patients’ medical charts prior to each visit and any available medical records and labs.

Treatment Planning and Execution:

Develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans to address fertility issues.

Perform specialized fertility acupuncture treatments and prescribe herbal medicine or supplements as needed.

Patient Care and Follow-Up:

Monitor patients' progress throughout treatment cycles and adjust treatment plans and recommendations as necessary.

Provide guidance on lifestyle redesign, nutrition, and exercises that can enhance fertility.

Offer compassionate emotional support and coaching to patients dealing with fertility issues.

Collaborative Care:

Work in collaboration with Aphrodite leadership and other healthcare professionals involved in patients’ care, such as reproductive endocrinologists AND obstetricians to provide integrated care.

Participate in case reviews and consultations with Aphrodite staff and other healthcare providers.

Continuous Education and Compliance:

Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of acupuncture and fertility.

Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, and ethical standards related to acupuncture practice.

Administrative & Business Growth Responsibilities:

Studio Operations:

Manage proactive and consistent scheduling of appointments to keeps your schedule full, optimize patient flow and treatment effectiveness.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts daily by end of shift.

Ensure that the treatment area in all treatment rooms are properly maintained and prepared for the next practitioner.

High Level Communications:

Maintain regular, proactive and professional communication with your manager about any areas of concern, clinical questions, and daily updates about tasks completed during each shift.

Address patient inquiries and concerns through text and email promptly and at least within 24 hours, including evenings and weekends unless designated PTO.

Foster strong relationships with patients and build trust to enhance patient retention and satisfaction and build referrals.

Conduct excellent written and verbal communication with all patients and Aphrodite staff.

Marketing and Networking:

Participate in the development and implementation of digital and on the ground marketing strategies to promote the studio’s offerings.

Engage in community networking events to increase studio visibility, form collaborations and attract new patients.

Maintain an active presence showing face on social media platforms during every shift to provide fertility education and information and to share studio happenings.

Actively contribute to Mailchimp newsletters or blogs for Aphrodite’s website and email marketing to engage with current and prospective patients.

Studio Maintenance:

Contribute to studio cleanliness, organization and presentation during your shift, at the end of your shift, and ongoing throughout the week with a keen attention to detail.

Required tasks include but are not limited to removing trash, watering plants, washing and sanitizing glass cups, ordering and unpacking inventory, keeping all 5 treatment rooms stocked with supplies, putting away clean sheets into treatment rooms at the start of each week, collecting used sheets at the end of your shift, and tending to any areas of concern or repair as determined by your manager.

Scheduling and Work Load

As a salaried professional you are required to work on-site for a minimum of 24 hours a week, with occasional administrative tasks and projects that may need to be completed outside your typical scheduled hours.
