Elk Creek Trailers is Expanding we are building a Brand new 14,0000 Square Foot Shop and Fabrication facility, a specialty trailer manufacturer shop is looking for goal oriented, creative and experienced metal fabricators & welders seeking challenging and unique work.

 Work well in a team environment so that budgets and schedules are met.

 Be able to follow direction so that projects are completed safety and profitably.

Personal Attributes and Skills Need to be Successful:

 Must be steady, decisive, flexible and friendly

 Must strive for continuous improvement, accepting responsibility for results, and effectively manage time to meet deadlines

 Be able to work overtime when needed

 Ideally Have 2 + years of experience in a fabrication/welding environment not required

 Be experienced with TIG and MIG welding processes

 Ability to read tape measure

 Experienced in holding tight tolerances

 Stand for long periods of time (we provide ergonomic mats)

 Enjoy learning an array of different skills and processes

 Keep an organized workspace

 Have consistent attendance

 Work well with other internal departments

 Valid driver’s license required

 Be comfortable with the operation of grinders, band saw and cold saw

 Ability to Stand, Stoop, kneel, crawl, lay, bend, squat, and walk for long periods of time

 Ability to lift 75 pounds

Schedule:

 Full-Time, 40-hours per week

 4-DAY WORK WEEK Monday-Thursday

 Willing to work overtime as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

 Competitive wages based on skills and experience.

 4-Day Work week M-T

 This is a long-term Full-time position

 1-week paid time off accrued 1st year

 2-weeks paid time off after 2nd year

 Weekly Fuel allowance

 Overtime when required

 Time and a half after 40 Hours
